Bandings explained…
Every year we closely examine each of our holiday homes, considering points such as make and model, closeness to the beach, sea views, fixtures and fittings and age of the holiday home. We then sit down to carefully consider which banding the holiday home should be in for the following year. The bandings are Bronze, Bronze Plus, Silver, Silver Plus, Gold, Gold Plus, Platinum, Diamond and Flagship Homes. You can view the holiday locations on our Holiday Park Map.

Two bedroom holiday homes all have one double and one twin bedroom and a minimum of one WC/shower room. Three-bedroom homes all have one double and two twin rooms, plus a WC/ shower room. Some models also have an additional WC. All homes also have a pull-out bed settee acting as a good-sized double bed in the living room, and digital TV and DVD Player as standard. Although you can have more than one car (at an extra cost), we cannot always guarantee that a second parking space will be located directly outside of your holiday home, however, will do our best to find a solution for this, if required.

Optional extras: paid WiFi is available in your holiday home (Free WiFi is available in The Seahorse and Hubbox).

LOCATION AND TYPE: The tariff tables, used in conjunction with the site map, show the location of the different types of holiday homes in the park. Two-bedroom holiday homes all have one double and one twin bedroom and a minimum of one WC/shower room. Three-bedroom homes all have one double and two twin rooms, plus a WC/shower room. Some models also have an additional WC. All homes also have a pull-out bed settee acting as a good-sized double bed in the living room, and digital TV and DVD Player as standard.
LINEN: Pillows, pillowcases, duvets, duvet covers and one sheet per bed are included. Fresh linen is supplied weekly. Cot bedding is not supplied for infants. Towels, bath mats and tea towels are not supplied.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT: No damage deposit is required. However, the company reserves the right to charge the customer within 72 hours of departure for any damaged or missing items. If deemed necessary, a minimum £60 cleaning charge (£150 for damage caused by smoking) may also be levied. Failure to pay will result in legal action. Waterproof mattress protectors are available on request.
PETS: With the exception of registered guide/ assistance dogs, we regret that no pets of any sort are allowed at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park. However, our sister site Heligan Caravan and Camping site do allow well-behaved dogs.
TENTS: Tents may not be pitched adjacent to holiday homes. If tents are required, a separate booking must be made for a regular tent pitch.
HOLIDAY HOME EXTRAS:
Bookings made for 7 nights or more are subject to a one-off booking fee of £10.25 and a compulsory Cancellation Scheme fee of £3.15 per night. The daily cancellation fee is also available as an optional extra for breaks shorter than 7 nights. Tariffs shown include VAT at prevailing rates.

- Extra persons: tariff rates are shown based on occupation by four persons in two-bedroom homes and six persons in three-bedroom homes and The Retreat. Additional persons will be charged at £12.50 per person per night.
- Travel cots and high chairs: can be hired at £6.00 per night

CARS: Car parking is generally provided directly adjacent to each holiday home. The tariff allows for one vehicle free of charge in all 2 and 3-bed holiday homes. All extra cars are charged at £6.00 per night. We cannot always guarantee that a second parking space for a second vehicle will be located directly outside of your holiday home, however, will do our best to find a solution for this, if required.
BOATS: Boats will be charged at £6.00 per night. Boats on twin axle trailers will be charged at the nightly rate plus 50%. We regularly check pitches and passes and undeclared cars, persons or boats will be subject to an additional penalty charge of 50%.
RAMPS & WHEELCHAIRS: Wheelchairs will be charged at £3.50 per night and ramps will be charged at £10.00 per night. A limited number can be provided on request but must be booked in advance. Please check the suitability of the ramps with our staff at the time of booking.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: Guests are welcome to check-in from 4pm on the day of arrival. During peak dates, we regret that we are unable to offer early check-ins as it can cause delays in the overall cleaning process. Holiday homes must be vacated by 10am, at the latest, on the day of departure.

Open Friday 22nd March - Saturday 2nd November 2024.
Short Break Tariff
From 25th May – 1st June and 20th July – 31st August 2024, holiday home bookings must be for multiples of one week. At all other times, short breaks are welcomed (excluding our Diamond holiday homes and Flagship homes, The Retreat and The Lookout). All our short breaks are subject to a minimum of three nights. The short-break tariff is inclusive of booking fees; cancellation scheme is available as an optional extra.
