4th time half term visitor and really pleased again. Great site with good people..the seahorse club has a good feel with plenty to entertain old and young. The beach is beautiful and the hubbox on the beach has a vibrant trendy feel to it...will return again.

Fourth visit - October - 2019

Another fabulous stay at Pentewan Sands. Even the weather spoiling the firework fun couldn't put a dampener on our mini family break. This must have been our 7th or 8th visit here and cannot recommend it enough for a family holiday. Spotless, professional and warming are the three words I would use to describe Pentewan Sands. We'll be back!!

Half term break - October - 2019

2nd time coming on holiday to Pentewan Sands, and had another enjoyable time.Had very nice weather when we came for the 9 day stay considering the time of year. Hubbox was amazing as usual. We stayed in a silver caravan which was very nice, the only downside to this was being a family of 4 and only having 1 toilet, so when you book for a caravan make sure you know how many toilets you have. Other then this had an amazing holiday!

Very nice holiday - October - 2019

We have stayed at pentewan sands many times. although we did not have good weather over our 2 weeks in sept/oct we had a enjoyable time. the staff were always very friendly and helpful. Twice we ordered pasties from the shop they were lovely. once we had cod, chips and mushy peas from pentewan plaice the fish and chips were generous in size but the mushy peas were dry and hard ! the site was nice and clean and our caravan was ok. have booked already for next year

Another enjoyable holiday - October - 2019

One of the best sites in the country ,clean we'll presented fan on site pool and restaurants,there's a water sport hire store so great for sea kayak and paddle boarding ,we have had just the best time here ,the staff are all friendly and extremely helpful definitely a place to revisit again and again

Have been to loads of camps, but this one was the best I’ve ever been to,how many are directly on the beach? Club room good ,the hub box the food and view great, toilet block kept clean, we’ll be back:-) keep up the good work

Fantastic holiday - September - 2019

Turned up and immediately took a disliking to the site. Pitches are open, plentiful and a bit chaotically laid out. Not a good start. Through the week however this site grew and grew on me. For the amount of people on site it is surprisingly quiet after around 10pm with the odd exception that security are happy to resolve. The Hubbox does some excellent food, Cornwall water sports can offer paddle boarding, canoeing, motorised boats and much more. We found ourselves barbecuing, playing board games and having an evening stroll along he beach which you are never more than a 2 or 3 minute walk from. Wifi if purchased is a bit hit and miss. Try the neighbouring village of Mevagissey for crabbing, sea fishing and rib rides and some lovely restaurants and small street shopping.

A fantastic stay at Pentewan Sands - September - 2019

This is the 2nd holiday we have had at Pentewan sands and again it didn’t fail to impress. The site has great facilities, a brilliant shop and the beach is beautiful. A great location for family holidays. The site offers nearby bus routes to the local towns which meant we could park up and not worry about driving which was fantastic! Highly recommend this site! Big thumbs up from us!

Everything you could want in a campsite - August - 2019

This was our 2nd year going to pentewan sands and again it was brilliant one of the best sites we have been to great size touring pitches fantastic new shower block brilliant facilities and brilliant weather to spend on the beach. Can't wait to return (hopefully next year).

Fantastic! - August - 2019

I can’t rate this site highly enough. I rang on Monday and got a pitch after a late cancellation - beach front! Arrived Wed stayed 4 days. The staff were excellent, the facilities are immaculate. I’ve seen other reviews saying it’s crowded, but that isn’t due to small pitches. The pitches are huge! It’s that people have massive set ups, for example a camper van, plus tent, plus jet ski. As everyone has big set ups, it makes it look crowded compared to a site where you’re seeing small 4 man tents. Kids loved the beach, pool, arcade, clubhouse, shop. The location is magnificent, we will definitely be back. One minor point, expect to wait for toilets and showers.

Incredible site! - August - 2019

We have just come back from a holiday here. We miss it already and can’t wait to come back again. There is nothing not to love about this place. You’ll love it. The beach is beautiful. We ate at the sea horse, really loved the food. The Hubbox is something else! Outstanding food. The ice cream lady was so friendly. The shop staff were really lovely too. I have nothing bad to say at all. Our caravan was immaculate and so clean. We loved the balcony. I highly recommend this holiday park, for all ages.

Brilliant - August - 2019

We spent a week at Pentewan Sands with our Grandchildren. Their first Caravan Holiday. The park has a private sandy beach as well as an indoor swimming pool with slides. The pitches are large and the roads are well maintained and great for cycling and roller skating. We ate at the Hubbox which serves excellent burgers. The toilet blocks are very clean and as well as a once a day two hour clean they are further cleaned four or five times a day. The shop on site is well stocked with reasonable prices.

This is perfect for children of all ages - July - 2019

We have just returned from a weeks holiday staying in our Campervan at Pentewan Sands and what a great time we had. The site has everything you need, it’s right on the beach, has good pitch sizes, has really nice, clean toilet / shower facilities, on site supermarket, swimming pool, tennis courts and water sports. Hubbox the beach bar/ restaurant is a must to try with good quality food at decent prices, as is the coastal walk from Pentewan to Mevagissey which has stunning views.

Great first holiday in our campervan - July - 2019

If you are looking to the reviews on this site before booking a holiday at Pentewan Sands then be aware that as a family site it will be busy and difficult to get the exact pitch/static that you want in the school holidays, it's very popular for obvious reasons. Nowhere else can you choose your pitch/static when you book so why not try earlier or later if you possibly can when there will be lots of choice. We have just had two hot sunny weeks in a gorgeous van with a daily used balcony in a lovely quiet spot. Every van is replaced regularly and kept spotless. Within sensible noise/neighbourly boundaries you can use the huge pitches as you want, no telling you to pitch 'inline'. What I see is happy families, happy kids having fun and freedom on the beach and being outdoors. If there are any problems then the staff will quickly sort it and always happy to help. There is something for everyone on site and more choice of pubs & cafes in the village. We have not found a better site in 35 years

The best - July - 2019

Just returned from a lovely 3 night stay with our 8 & 4 year old grandsons. Great location. Staff friendly and helpful, good pitch size, showers were spotless and the site was kept very clean. Kids loved the beach which is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Didn’t get to use all the facilities but did go into Hubbox for a drink. We were politely asked by a member of staff we minded moving tables as they had a large booking and needed our table which we didn’t mind doing. When we paid our bill they had knocked 10% off which was a nice gesture as we didn’t care where we sat. We did the coastal path walk into Mevagissey which is an experience. Would definitely stay on this site again and for a bit longer.

3 night touring stay - 2019

We have just returned from Pentewan Park, we had a touring motorhome. The pitches were spacious and the location terrific. We loved the Seahorse restaurant food and entertainment. The staff were lovely, helpful and courteous. An ideal location with attractions close by. The facilities were pristine.

Excellent site - 2019

We are home from another fantastic holiday at Pentewan. We have been going for five years and it is a great base to explore the area. We find something new to try each time. The beach location is beautiful and there are bike and walking tracks nearby. The staff are friendly. The food at the Hubbox must be tasted. 

Beautiful location - 2019

Wow blown away the seahorse has so much to do inside arcade,kids play area, pool and bar which is also has seperate adults only side. Loved the hubbox and what a view onto the private beach. Lots of watersports also available and a big supermarket style shop. The whole place is a breath of fresh hair. The staff are amazing and welcoming. Entertainment is great. Highly recommend.

Love this place - 2019

This was our first time at the park..only an hour from our home so ideal place. The park is spotless, kids loved the slides in the swimming pool, they could ride their bikes around the park safely..site is on the beach which was great. Shower block was clean and modern. Fish and chip shop on site. We did have a meal in the seahorse resturant on the sunday which was well priced and a good portion and quality. Evening entertainment was on but we didnt go as sitting out the camper while sun going down was nice. Only thing i think they could improve on was the pitch numbering. Really cant wait to go back soon..did try for this weekend (may) but was full up but will get there again this season.

Easter weekend break - 2019

Just got back from an Easter weekend camping break and absolutely loved it. The site was spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble. Pitches were spacious and didnt feel cramped at all. Entertainment was good for the children and when we miscalculated our timings for the Easter Bonnet making Jasmine and Chelsea kindly got the craft out for our 4 year old to make her bonnet. We had such a great holiday. One thing to consider is the night entertainment when picking your pitch. We were in field C and it was quite loud until around 10.30 on the Saturday (much quieter on the sunday night). With a little one we would pick a pitch slightly further away next time. However, absolutely loved our break and will definitely be back.

Great and lovaly stay here really enjoyed great pool. They have a large pool and small one for kids. A mini hot pool. Food great from burgers to curry nice large spaces. Great evening to be had in club house with singers and dancing bingo. Best bit right by a beauiful beach.

Amazing holiday park! - 2019

I have been visiting Pentewan for about 35 years, it's the perfect place for a holiday whether you are holidaying with family or as couples. The beach is perfect, clean and safe. Great facilities, disabled friendly. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend a holiday at Pentewan Sands.

Best holiday destination - 2019

Lovely place and clean.Access straight on to the beach.Went for a weekend then booked 2 week later in 2018 because we enjoyed it so much.The locals in the nearby village are very nice and friendly.We mainly travelled around Cornwall but all the Families seemed to be having fun and where friendly.We picked a large pitch because we have a 620 Venus but most pitches are a decent size.Did like being able to pick our own pitch.

Caravan Touring Site Holiday - 2019

We as a family of 7 stayed in a static diamond rated caravan. Very clean & tidy. Very friendly reception staff. Lovely beach to relax or even take your own food & drink to. A couple of pubs just along the road 5 minute walk, one called Into The Woods and the other called The Ship Inn.

Lovely private beach - 2018

Yet again we all had a great holiday. the staff were very helpful, they replaced our broken kettle very quickly. our caravan had everything we wanted. we had a meal from the on site fish and chip shop, they were cooked to order so we had to wait a while but they were well worth the wait.

Great caravan - 2018

We booked in late for this campsite, but were so happy with our pitch. It was close to the road, however we were not disrupted that much by the noise of cars as some reviewers have said. It took us 5 minutes to walk to the lovely sandy beach, which has a Hubbox on the beach too!! Onsire there is a small indoor swimming pool, bar/restaurant and indoor play for kids. Very happy with the wash facilities. Will come again!

Great onsite facilities and so close to the beach - 2018

Staying in Cornwall with our motorhome we wanted to extend our stay and called this site and managed to get a pitch what a surprise facilities great 3 bars featuring different food menu in each, own private beach and watersports if you want to hire it they have it. Pool facilities great especially for kids if the weather not great some nice local pubs if you like a walk and Mevagissey only a mile away with bus stop within 200 yards. Definitely recommend this site have tried to return high season but to no avail so have to wait on kids going back to school sadly.

Surprise Visit - 2018

This year was our second year and we have already booked to go back in May next year for the 3rd time. With its own private beach countless activities and play areas this place is a must. The caravan we stayed in is the biggest I’ve ever seen it felt like home from home. They also offer pitches with hookups for tourers and campers and from what I could see they where flexible on how much space you can take up as everyone had plenty. The water sports are brilliant the kids will never get bored and it is literally a stone throw away from the mevagissy harbou

Family holiday with a 4 year old a 3 year old and a 9 month old. Pentewan Sands was recommended to me by a colleague who has been here every year for the last 20 years. I can now see why he comes back every year with his family. Great location, great facilities, great food and brilliant staff especially the entertainment team Alex, Vicky and Sean who were all brilliant with out little ones. We stayed in a bronze rated static caravan which was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend it and we will be back.

Excellent site, everything in easy walking distance. We enjoyed good food and the caravan was well equipped, spotless and comfortable. The coast path walk to Mevagissey was challenging in places as there had been a lot of rain in the previous week. We will be returning.

Have just had a great week at Pentewan Sands. Really impressed with silver plus caravan. Everything was really clean. This was our first time here and we would definitely come back. They let us in early to caravan because it was ready. Never have we had this before at other sites. Kids loved site and swimming pool. The site is in a beautiful location. We used the tennis courts too. The beach was very close to the caravan. Only a couple of minutes stroll. The local people and staff were all very friendly too. We ate at the Ship Inn at the village a few times because the food was so nice there. We will be back again.

Took our two granddaughters for a short stay in our caravan here. Great pitch near the shower block which was kept very clean. 1 minute walk to the beach with play equiptment that they enjoyed. Good facilities on site girls enjoyed the entertainment in the club house. Swimming pool was good. Did not eat in site restaurants but The ship Inn in the village was great and only a 2 min walk away.

We visit this site every year and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The facilities are clean, good condition and well maintained. The kids love the rock pools and beach and if the whether does get a bit cold the there is loads to do nearby. We'll definitely be returning next year.

This was the 3rd time there great place all the tolet blocks keeped nice and clean also good shop on site and of cause right on the beach going again this year. There is also a large swimming pool and club house with entertainment every night. Easy to find and all staff are friendly and helpful.

Have just come back from a three day break at Pentewan Sands I would rate this as the best campsite we have ever been to they have practically thought of everything and the staff are wonderfully accomodating and great you with a beaming smile. We were pitched on C26 which was a fab location right opposite the pristine shower block, near to the hub the lovely little restaurant/pub on the beach where you can have a drink and something to eat looking at the beautiful golden sands of the beach. we did not use the clubhouse being an ex entertainments manager for a holiday park I am afraid the sort of entertainment is not my thing having had to organise it myself elsewhere for 4 years, but the seahorse has a lovely sit out terrace which gives a lovely view over the campsite and the ocean beyond. We found the staff in the shop helpful and the shop offers a wide range of goods. Wi-Fi a little expensive but that is my only gripe I would not of even used it if we had better weather so although we were out and about when possible it was a godsend to have on a rainy evening while my husband was glued to the boring football. Looking forward to our return in September.

I stayed for 2 nights this weekend, it was quiet except for the saturday night when a neighbour had a bit of a get together. The beach is lovely and clean, water is beautiful. The showers and toilets are good, and the washing up facilities are good too - there is a laundrette but I didn't use it. There are swings on the beach which is nice, and there is a nice pub. I would deffo go back. p.s wifi is £3 a day.

Came here during whitsun. We have been coming here since I was in nappies. Simply the best resort around. Awesome beach, fantastic new burger bar at the beach and the facilities are top drawer. Toilets cleaned regularly, good washing up facilities, and generous sized pitches. We camp here and enjoy it more than holidays abroad. Coming next summer for 2 weeks. Where else can a family of you have an unforgettable 2 week holiday for under £800? Fantastic.
